The One Question That Increases ALL Life
Filed Under Personal Development | 4 Comments
Hey Friend,
What if you could go from negative to positive in any area of life, with one simple question?
It might sound too good to be true, or maybe even too simple but I assure you that there is such a way to do it. This article will reveal the one question that’ll improve your life remarkably and how you can benefit most from it…
So, what’s the question?
Here it is:
How Does God Feel About Me (or This)?
Whether or not you believe in God, does not matter. You can replace it with “Higher Power”, “Universe”, whatever works for you. We all have different ideas about what exactly this power is, but a few characteristics we might give it are: loving, kind, merciful, giving, creative & abundant.
Knowing this, we can look at things from an entirely different perspective. Our goal should be to match up our own thoughts and feelings with those of this higher power that created us. So, for example if you’re feeling unloved or uncared for… think “How does God Feel about me”?
The truth is that God loves you so much. God is love. And you were created from this field. Anything but being loving isn’t a match to who you are intended to be. So, simply begin to feel how god feels about YOU. Feel that same energy of love and compassion towards yourself.
If you ever feel like you’re not good enough, or not smart enough, or not attractive enough- remember what our Source thinks and feels about ourselves. Our source loves us unconditionally, thinks we’re more than good enough, worthy enough, and even beautiful…
Take a moment to get in touch with those feelings… Right now!
Here’s a couple more ideas on how to match up your thoughts:
#1 – If it doesn’t feel good, stop thinking it.
There’s no sense thinking thoughts that make you feel bad. When you were a child, do you ever really remember long periods of feeling bad? You were happy, you were excited. Get back to that kind of living – where you don’t have to worry about anything.
Choose to think thoughts that make you feel good. You never have anything to be ashamed or anxious about. We have been given the gift of choice and the power to choose. Choose thoughts that make you feel good, and consequently, you’ll make those around you feel good as well!
#2 – Direct the question to other people, and situations
Not only can you ask the question about yourself, but you can also use it to feel better about things outside of yourself. How does God feel about this?
How does God feel about those people? Remember to keep an open mind about things. What would this unconditional love do? What would you feel if you WERE love? It’s not something you did, but something you are.
Get back to what you came from, when you make that connection you take in the ability to send that kind of energy out to others as well!
Final Thoughts
Match your thoughts up with those of this higher power. If you don’t believe in god or a higher power – ask yourself “What would love do?” “How would love feel about this” “How does LOVE feel about me?” Begin to feel that kind of energy about yourself and others, and you’ll attract more of it.
If you wouldn’t want other people to feel what you are feeling, choose to change your feelings by focusing on thoughts that empower and inspire you! You want to inspire and empower others, and you can’t be sad or hurt enough to make others feel good.
Have a great day!

Let Your Light Shine!
Filed Under Personal Development | Leave a Comment
Hey Friend!
We often hear talk about letting our light shine… But what does this really mean? How do we let our light shine? What prevents us from doing so?
In Dr. Wayne Dyer’s book, The Power of Intention – the whole book is based around the promise of, if you become like your source, you acquire the power of that source. If you match your own thoughts up with those of this higher power – it would make sense, right?
So letting your light shine basically means substituting higher thoughts for lower ones. It’s not easy – we often see someone who is upset, or angry or depressed and we reflect their own consciousness. Letting your light shine means to maintain this higher level thought – loving others no matter what happens on the outside, no matter what other people are doing. It is for your benefit! By doing so you acquire the power of your source.
For example, we withhold this higher energy from people because we FEEL that they don’t deserve it… that they aren’t very nice so we won’t be nice to them. Can you relate? The truth is that WE are the ones who benefit by letting our light shine continually. It’s not the other person – it’s US. Try it out yourself – you’ll see amazing things happen. What benefit do you have if you’re just going to reflect how other people are to you? Everyone does that.
Be greater and let your light shine – even if no one else around you is.
Have a great day!

Increase Your INNER Capacity
Filed Under Personal Development | Leave a Comment
Hey Friend,
When attempting to increase the results in any area of life most people get caught up in thinking that the cause is somewhere outside themselves. They think, “Maybe if I could only get that job things would work out”, “maybe if I had better teachers life would be fine now”. The list of conditions goes on.
When speaking to someone who generates over $7,000,000 a year with his business he said the biggest secret was to find a way to free up your time. He also went on to say to continue doing things that increase your capacity to hold wealth. What you can manage – you’ll keep. What you don’t manage, you’ll lose.
In terms of wealth, which this example is – as soon as you increase your wealth “capacity” inside, that mo-ney will automatically fill up to that level. You don’t have to pursue it. It will just be attracted naturally to you because you have become a bigger person.
Make sure you focus on the inner causes of wealth and success instead of things which you have no control over. Get an understanding of how things work, build your faith, become an expert, learn & develop the skills you need first.
Increase the rate in which you get ideas. The wealthiest people surround themselves with people smarter than they are. They increase the rate at which ideas could come than just by themselves alone. Continue focusing on this inner capacity and do things to increase it.
Remember… Whatever you manage – you’ll keep. Whatever you don’t manage, you’ll lose. Learn how to manage larger amounts of what you do want. More mo-ney, more friends, more businesses, whatever it is – if you focus on how you can increase your capacity to handle it, you’ll begin to manage & keep it.
Look on the inside first. Increase the size of your cup and have faith that it will be filled.
Have a great day!

Are You WILLING?
Filed Under Personal Development | 7 Comments
Hey Friend,
I think the greatest discovery made in our lifetime is the fact that by simply changing our attitude towards something, we can change that thing.
It’s not the thing, situation or circumstance that holds any power – but it’s your attitude itself that has tremendous power over you… Like they say… your attitude determines your altitude.
I want to talk about developing a willing attitude. Willingness is simply being in a state where you’re cheerfully ready to do something. It means you’re happy to get something done… it’s a positive mindset that we can all acquire.
One thing that holds back a lot of people is having a fear of rejection or fear of being hurt in their lives. And I’m writing this article to myself as much as I am to anyone else.
Being able to get over fears can be tough because you’re constantly focused on imaginary rejection or being hurt. You focus on the fear of something and then those thoughts bring the thing you fear closer to you.
Whatever you focus on expands… so if you have this attitude of fear – or of rejection, you’re going to constantly feel rejected and that thinking will attract more situations & events which reinforce your feeling of rejection and hurt.
On the other hand, if we’d only develop a willingness to be rejected, things would go a lot differently. Imagine if you were more than willing to be rejected or hurt… You’d have a positive attitude about it. You’d cheerfully do what you needed to do, and because you focus on willingness – you expand that positive state of mind and squeeze out the negative. It will simply disappear.
The key to this is replacing lower, less productive attitudes with greater, more positive ones. Be willing to be rejected. “I am willing to be rejected because it’s worth it”. “I’m willing to be hurt, because it’s worth it.”
Soon enough you see things in a new light – and the fear you used to have disappears.
I’m willing…are YOU?
Have a great day!

…The REAL Secret…
Filed Under Personal Development | 1 Comment
Hey Friends!
Knowing about how we attract people, events and opportunities into our life is critical to your success. Having knowledge of this allows us to work in harmony with something that’s consistent for everyone and is always working in our lives…
The law of attraction is THE SECRET in the movie “The Secret” - which is a great movie by the way if you haven’t yet seen it. This is the law responsible for the positive or negative experiences you create in your life. Success breeds success. Like attracts like.
It never fails and is always working. We often talk about positive/negative emotions and how they play a part - but I don’t seen enough emphasis on our own power to BELIEVE. I think that’s the REAL secret.
I’ve been reading biographies of the rich & celebrated, watching interviews of many successful people, reading books they write and one thing that stands out the most to me is this….
AS HUMAN BEINGS WE ARE THE ONES WHO GET TO CHOOSE WHAT WE BELIEVE
This means that WE are the ones who can…
Believe anything we want about ourselves.
Believe anything we want about our businesses.
Believe anything about our own personal power.
The thing is that we are so caught up in wanting to be accepted, we take on the beliefs from other people about ourselves. Maybe one person told you were ugly when you were young… so all your life you believed it…and then you attracted situations to reinforce that belief. And things compounded. Maybe you gained more weight so you could prove that you ARE ugly.
Stop believing things that limit you. If you truly believe, nothing can ever stop you. No one can stop you from believing. It’s your gift.
Take a moment to think of some of the MOST made fun of people on the news, talk shows, etc. Think of someone like KEVIN FEDERLINE….. (although the world can say he’s the worst rapper ever - which I think is true-and he probably wont’ sell many albums, lol) he doesn’t believe it. He believes in himself - and I think that’s inspiring. There’s dozens and dozens of stories like this.
The point is - even if everyone is against you - if you believe in yourself that’s all that matters. No one can stop that belief in yourself… even if they laugh, make fun, if you believe - you will grow to a place of success.
Thanks!
Matthew
P.S. Some may argue that a “Delusional” belief in yourself isn’t a good thing. Take for example the awful singers on american idol who think they’ll win. I disagree that it’s a bad thing in any way - if you have an authentic belief that you can do something - you’ll search out the right people, opportunities and make it happen.
That being said, you have to take into account a degree of realisticness where if you have no talent and can’t show anyone else what you have to offer - then you have to find something else to believe in. But that positive belief in yourself will lead you somewhere good.
Stop Resisting Your Future!
Filed Under Personal Development | 2 Comments
Hey Friends!
Resistance is probably the biggest obstacle I’ve seen others (and myself) have when trying to create or attract something from the inside out. So, you know you create the picture on the inside first… you see yourself as already having the good you desire… you feel as if you already have it while you’re visualizing… you’re doing everything right so far.
Then – you begin to see things happen OUTSIDE of yourself that shows you are on the right path. Maybe you want to meet a specific person or type of person, and you begin to notice new events, and start to attend them, etc. Everything is going well…then you see the person you want to meet…and you FREEZE.
For me personally this has actually happened like that. I knew exactly who I wanted to meet, I visualized approaching the group of people – introducing myself and getting along great. Anyway, one day I was at the mall, and saw the group of people I had imagined, EXACTLY the same – but when I saw them I got afraid and froze up. Didn’t go say hi. BIG mistake. I didn’t let things flow how they were supposed to – basically I was saying “I don’t trust this will work out…I’m going to just be afraid of what bad could happen instead”.
This happens for a lot of reasons. You may even get freaked out when your bank account is increasing, or when other “positive” things happen in your life. You unconsciously SLAM on the brakes. Then you wonder why this stuff isn’t “working”. Well, it’s because as soon as things begin to change… you get freaked out and want to revert to what is called your “Safety”. (Your zone of comfort)
To prevent this from happening, you need to see yourself at the next level, and comfortable at the next level of life…now. Get yourself comfortable with the experience. How good will it be? How will you benefit? What will you gain by doing it? What will life be like when your desire is real? Then, you just need to ALLOW things to happen instead of resist them.
Don’t question your worthiness or if you’re good enough to have what you desire. Don’t frustrate your own potential by thinking thoughts that serve no greater purpose. There’s a reason why you are here – and you have something unique that no one else has that you can offer the world. You deserve the best!
A final note… if you’re afraid – that’s fine! Just focus on courage and do the thing you’re afraid to do. Soon enough you’ll have no attention placed on things that cause fear – and you’ll be free from it.
Take care!

To Want or Not To Want…That Is The Question!
Filed Under Personal Development | 2 Comments
Hey Friends,
There always seems to be a lot of debate in the self-improvement/manifesting community when it comes to whether or not you should “WANT” what you want. To be slightly more specific, people use the word want interchangeably with desire and this leads to some confusion. This article will take a look at the difference between desire vs want and clear up any confusion you might have.
Technically, to want something is to be aware of the absence of that thing. For simplicity sake, let’s say you ‘wanted’ a new car. So, when thinking about this car, you start feeling badly (negative emotions). Then you give more and more attention to the fact that you don’t have the car you want.
As you know this is counter-productive to what you should be doing. Instead of bringing that car closer into your experience, you’ll be pushing it away because you’re attracting the absense of that car into your life.
I know when I was younger and wanted something I naturally pictured it in my mind first. I didn’t think about if I could afford it or not. I didn’t think about all the things that would prevent me from getting it. When I first decided to get a stereo (about 7 years old) I had no idea HOW I was going to get it.
The money needed for what I wanted came to me - even found $20 on the sidewalk. What a joy it was to finally buy this portable yellow stereo that was in my mind for so long. At a young age I did this automatically with computers, tvs and other things I desired. It’s never failed.
The key is to not get caught up or worried about different labels people use to describe something. What you want to be doing is seeing what you want, and feeling so good about it. Positive feelings should begin to boil up within yourself when you picture this car/thing in your mind. It should feel pleasant - it should feel GOOD - and the more you do it the stronger the feelings shall become.
This is what a strong DESIRE is all about. The first step is a burning desire. If you want money, desire it. See it in your mind and picture how having it feels. Focus on that feeling - and make it stronger and stronger.
It all comes down to how you feel. Forget the labels. If you are thinking about something you’d like to have…but feel terrible… it means you are going in the wrong direction. Monitor your feelings and then change your thoughts so you feel good about what you’d like to bring into your life.
Experience joy within yourself, see yourself with all the good you desire, and make your wishes known!
Thanks,
Matthew Bilt

A Favorite Quote…
Filed Under Personal Development | 1 Comment
Here’s a favorite quote of mine… Enjoy!
“The root of a bulb which shall produce a white lily is an unsightly thing; one might look upon it with disgust. But how foolish we should be to condemn the bulb for its appearance when we know the lily is within it.
The root is perfect after its kind; it is a perfect but incomplete lily, and so we must learn to look upon every man and woman, no matter how unlovely in outward manifestation; they are perfect in their state of being and they are becoming complete. Behold, it is all very good…it will make an immense difference with your faith and spirit whether you look upon civilization as a good thing which is becoming better or as a bad and evil thing which is decaying.
One viewpoint gives you an advancing and expanding mind and the other gives you a descending and decreasing mind. One viewpoint will make you grow greater and the other will inevitably cause you to grow smaller. One will enable you to work for the eternal things; to do large works in a great way toward the completing of all that is incomplete and inharmonious; and the other will make you a mere patchwork reformer, working almost without hope to save a few lost souls from what you will grow to consider a lost and doomed world.
So you see it makes a vast difference to you, this matter of the social viewpoint. All’s right with the world. Nothing can possibly be wrong but my personal attitude, and I will make that right. I will see the facts of nature and all the events, circumstances, and conditions of society, politics, government, and industry from the highest viewpoint. It is all perfect, though incomplete. It is all the handiwork of God; behold, it is all very good”.

Law of Attraction Turbocharger - An Exercise
Filed Under Personal Development | 2 Comments
Hey Friends,
Nothing new can come into your life without being grateful for what you already have. That was a key point discussed on Oprah Winfrey’s show when they were revealing “The Secret” movie.
By default, we look outside of ourself for answers to our problems. Need to lose weight? Oh, there’s a supplement and exercise machine for that.
Not attractive enough? Well, there’s surgeries and lotions and makeups for that! The list goes on…
There’s always an answer outside of ourself, but real change occurs when we see things differently on the inside.
When you can get emotionally involved and just say “I wouldn’t have it any other way, I’m so happy with what’s going on here, it’s PERFECT” you’ll begin to attract amazing things into your life.
Here’s an exercise to see how STRONG your point of attraction is:
Imagine for a moment that somehow you managed to leave your physical body and life here on earth. God calls you up to heaven to check things out. From heaven you can see all the people on earth, the billions and billions of people. You can zoom in on each life, see how much money they make, what they do for a living, you have access to everything.
Now, imagine you’ve spent decades watching all these people. The richest of the rich. The poorest of the poor. And everyone in between. God then says to you “Ok, pick whichever life you want down there and you can have it”.
Who’s life would YOU choose?
Think about it for a moment… would you choose to have the life of Bill Gates? Oprah Winfrey? Bono? Donald Trump?
Wouldn’t that be cool, right!?
Wrong! At least I don’t think so.
The best answer you can come up with is to say “I want my life”. As you are looking down from heaven, you can see your own life. And you make the decision that you’d rather have THIS life inspite of billions of alternatives.
When you get this EVERYTHING changes. This is life transforming.
We’re always looking for the magic-bullet solution. Billions are spent on weightloss and beauty products. There are industries that depend on you feeling like you’d rather have something else than you have.
And maybe you would prefer something else, and maybe you’ll get it - if you’ll understand this first.
Be so comfortable with yourself that even out of the choice of a billion lives, you’d choose the life you’re living now. That’s where real power lies.
Don’t buy into the hypnosis of the culture that you aren’t acceptable the way you are and you need something to become better. You are MORE than good enough exactly how you are right now.
You can get better, yes.
But you are perfect as it is, right now, in this moment.
Eliminate messages of unworthiness from your life - books, negative people, tv news. We are constantly told what we should look like, what we should believe, what’s right and wrong, what’s acceptable behavior, what is normal and what’s not!
I say forget the rules.
You are amazing.

If The World Had Only 100 People…

IF THE WORLD WERE A VILLAGE OF 100 PEOPLE…
In the world today, more than 6 billion people live.
If this world were shrunk to the size of a village of 100 people, what would it look like?
59 would be Asian
14 would be American (North, Central and South)
14 would be African
12 would be European
1 would be from the South Pacific
50 would be women, 50 would be men
30 would be children, 70 would be adults.
70 would be nonwhite, 30 would be white
90 would be heterosexual, 10 would be homosexual
33 would be Christians
21 would be Moslems
15 would be Hindus
6 would be Buddhists
5 would be Animists
6 would believe in other religions
14 would be without any religion or atheist.
15 would speak Chinese, Mandarin
7 English
6 Hindi
6 Spanish
5 Russian
4 Arabic
3 Bengali
3 Portuguese
The other would speak Indonesian, Japanese,
German, French, or some other language.
In such a village with so many sorts of folks, it would be very important to learn to understand people different from yourself and to accept others as they are. Of the 100 people in this village:
20 are underonurished
1 is dying of starvation, while 15 are overweight.
Of the wealth in this village, 6 people own 59% (all of them from the United States), 74 people own 39%, and 20 people share the remaining 2%.
Of the energy of this village, 20 people consume 80%, and 80 people share the remaining 20%.
20 have no clean, safe water to drink.
56 have access to sanitation
15 adults are illiterate.
1 has an university degree.
7 have computers.
In one year, 1 person in the village will die, but in the same year, 2 babies will be born, so that at the year’s end the number of villagers will be 101.
If you do not live in fear of death by bombardment, armed attack, landmines, or of rape or kidnapping by armed groups, then you are more fortunate than 20, who do.
If you can speak and act according to your faith and your conscience without harassment, imprisonment, torture or death, then you are more fortunate than 48, who can not.
If you have money in the bank, money in your wallet and spare change somewhere around the house, then you are among the richest 8.
If you can read this message, that means you are probably lucky!
(The statistics were derived from Donella Meadows “State of the Village Report” first published in 1990)
